Our mission is to encourage and promote African and International art. By exposing our unique inventory, we are creating a space where art, culture, and equality can be celebrated.
Every quarter we will donate 10% of our quarterly earnings to a charity of our choice. This winter we have decided to use the OSU Children's Library Fund. . This charity is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults through the power of literature, art, and fun.
Our current collection has been specifically curated from Accra, Ghana. It depicts the lush and colourful cultural traditions present in West Africa.
In traditional Ghanian culture, Ewe and Akan people are given names based on the day they are born. Kweku is the name given to males born on a Wednesday.
